Strange Kids Club Limited Edition "The Bride Of Dr. Phibes" Limited Edition Poster Available For Pre-order

The legacy of one of horror's finest gentlemen lives on in Graham Humphreys stunning print THE BRIDE OF DOCTOR PHIBES. The work is the third and final poster from Strange Kids Club that imagines lobby art for proposed horror sequels. Past work included The Burning 2 and a follow up to Cujo.

For his work Humphreys drew inspiration for an unused script to the Vincent Price classic, titled Dr. Phibes Rises Again.

Humphreys is no stranger to the genre, as the British artist has done poster and home video releases including The Evil Dead and A Nightmare on Elm Street. His portfolio can be found on his personal site, linked here.

BRIDE is a limited edition print with one hundred copies made available. It can be preordered for $35 from the Strange Kids Club site. Give it 3-4 weeks for delivery.

This series has been one of the cooler ideas we've seen in a long while. Each poster draws a sharp contrast to the sad state of current movie posters. We're living in a dark age where photoshopping actors heads under the title logo is considered an acceptable work, where just stating  "THESE PEOPLE ARE IN THE MOVIE!" is considered adequate. This SKC series harkens back to a time where a snazzy box cover on the video shelf or killer concept art in the theater lobby piqued your interest and aside from publications like Fangoria or Starlog, the means to uncover every nugget about a film prior to its release didn't exist. Even more than a trailer, the poster art was the first chance to hook the viewer and sell him on a film. That just doesn't exist anymore.
