With about 30 minutes to go before we kick off Shudderfest
with a copresentation (along with the Boston Asian Film festival) of I Am A Ghost, I just wanted to say a few
thank yous.
Thanks to all the filmmakers for allowing us the privilege of
screening your work. We know how much sweat, toil and heart goes into your
creations, and we are so grateful you allow us to bring your work to the
public. Thanks to the Somerville Theater for not only making use of your
facility, but for ensuring the films are shown in the best possible light.
Thanks to anyone who wrote a newspaper article, blog post, or mentioned us on a
podcast or radio program, sent a tweet, posted in a forum, shared a facebook
post or told a friend about the event. Chris and I appreciate you helping to
spread the word.
Finally, thanks in advance to anyone that shows up tonight
and tomorrow. We believe we have three kickass films and a slug of tremendous
shorts, and we know you’re going to walk out of here jazzed about the state of
indie horror, and that you’re going to have a new favorite movie after this
weekend.
